Also on the board
Pilots go after the biggest bounty they can see. This office would like you to know it's nothing personal, it's per kill.
-
Last seen in a Speedster
Moth
Shot down first in the run we have on file, 19 seconds in. Collected the whole bounty at 1:52. Holds no grudge, according to Moth.
Worth 1, or more if Moth's been busy.
-
Last seen in a Heavy
Vesper
Nothing on file. This office finds that suspicious.
-
Last seen in a Shooter
Kite
Witnesses describe Kite as "right behind me."
-
Last seen in a Scanner
Rust
Knows where you are. Has told everyone.
-
Last seen in a Heavy
Orca
Shot down twice in the run we have on file, exactly a minute apart. Still turns up for work.
-
Last seen in a Shooter
Lark
Often mistaken for Kite. Kite has asked us to stop.
-
Last seen in a Speedster
Dust
Shot down at 0:50, one second before Lark. Calls it a team effort.
Terms of the bounty
- You start out worth 1.
- Every kill adds 1.
- Whoever shoots you down takes all of it, and you go back to 1. There's no appeals process.

How to stay uncollected
Your guns, engines and hull all draw on one account. This office does not extend credit, and when it hits zero the matter is closed. It suggests the following.

Go cold
Cut the engines and you'll keep sliding, but the bar fills three times faster and you nearly drop off sensors. We see a lot of people forget this one.
Clamp to a wreck
A beam pulls you in, and to anyone hunting you you're now part of a dead ship. This is allowed, we checked.
Ping, if you have to
You'll see everybody, and everybody in range will hear exactly where you are. This office accepts no responsibility.
